Doug Ireland |

|
Doug Ireland is Team Farmall’s resident mechanic. He and his Dad own Teeswater Agro Parts. His 1944 tractor was made the same year his Dad was born. Doug joined Team Farmall because someone said that it couldn’t be done – He enjoys the challenges of testing the limit of man and machine. Tractor - 1944 Farmall H Color - Orange |

Wilf Baks is a licensed mechanic and works for Easthill Autohaus in Walkerton. Wilf is a John Deere boy, through and through. This lonely red tractor in his yard sure brightens up all those antique John Deere’s he collects. Tractor – 1951 Farmall Super C Color - Purple |

Steve "Stephanie" Donaldson |
^ top |
|
Steve Donaldson is a salesman for CA Becker Equipment. His tractor was purchased in Delhi Ontario, the heart of Tobacco Country. The realization of Team Farmall is a proud accomplishment of Steve as he read an article in his Case IH quarterly magazine that intrigued him enough to see if we could create a set of dancing tractors to celebrate the IPM. His wife Mary thought he was crazy and said it would never fly. She is a believer now! Tractor - 1952 Farmall Super C Color - Red |

Jake Gowland is a Bobcat Territory Manager for Matthew’s Equipment out of Etobicoke. Jake’s tractor has spent its entire lifetime in Culross Township. Formerly owned by Allan Halliday on the 2nd concession and was originally used around farm as a loader tractor. Jake purchased this tractor in 1997 and is only the 2nd owner. Jake says that he joined Team Farmall because he likes operating equipment and he feels like it is a little bit like organized bumper cars…and he looooves his mullet. Bryan "Brianna" McKague |
^ top |
|
Bryan is involved in the operation of his family farm, Maple Hill Farms of Teeswater. Bryan wasn’t busy enough as a member of the host family for the IPM this year, so he thought he would spend two nights a week learning how to squaredance. Bryan has sure tested his tractor to its limits, and holds the record of being the first casualty in performance, as he blew a front tire on opening day of the 2008 IPM. We have come to be a little concerned for Bryan, because it seems like he enjoys wearing his skirt a little bit too much. Tractor - 1949 Farmall C Color - Yellow |

Bruce Bates |

|
Bruce Bates works at the Wingham and District Hospital, which is really good for Team Farmall. Although we haven’t had to use it yet, it is sure nice to know we have a connection in the case of an injury. Although he is the quietest member of the team, sometimes he makes the biggest bangs. He loves antiques and given that he grew up with Farmalls, he thought Team Farmall would be great new hobby. Plus he thought Steve was totally crazy. Tractor - 1952 Farmall H Color - Blue |

Jamie "Jamie-Lynn" Gowland |

When Jamie-Lynn isn’t cross-dressing, he is a nuclear operator at Bruce Power. Let’s all hope that he pays more attention to his job than Homer Simpson. He also helps out on his parent’s farm in his free time. His tractor was purchased in 2007 from the tobacco fields of the Niagara Region. Tractor - 1949 Farmall C Color - Blue |

Ben "Benjilina" Ireland (aka Fiona) |
^ top |
| Ben Ireland is the owner/operator of Ireland Transport of Teeswater. Ben was a real square dancer while in Junior Farmers and competed at Swing-Swing, Dundalk, and London Fair. When he bought his tractor it was in very tough shape, but nephew Doug at Teeswater Agro Parts restored it for him. It means a lot to Ben to be participating on this team with relatives, neighbours and friends. He feels it is important to keep history alive and we are doing that with our dancing tractors. | Mark Ireland |
^ top |
| Mark Ireland owns and operates Albadon Farms Ltd. of Teeswater. Milking 200 Holstein cows. His father bought this tractor in 1940 and was the first tractor Albadon Farms owned. This Farmall H has an interesting history. In 1950, its was rolled by his Uncle David, and later in 1966 while building a silo, it was broke in two. The reason he joined Team Farmall, was that it gave him a reason to restore and drive the first tractor he learned to drive – and Mark, we aren’t sure that 45 years later you’ve mastered it yet. Tammy Fischer
is a recent graduate of the University of Guelph, where she won 2
College Royal Square dance Championships. She is presently working for TD Canada Trust - Agricultural Services. The first tractor she learned to drive was her Dad's
rusty old Farmall H. She is sometimes a little concerned about how well
her father George looks in a skirt, but has enjoyed being part of this
crazy idea becoming a reality. Tammy was recently crowned Ontario Queen
of the Furrow at the International Plowing Match in St. Thomas.

Lisa Thompson |

Lisa Thompson is General Manager of the Ontario Dairy Goat Co-operative. It was her sister-in-law Donna, a former Bruce County Squaredancer that hooked her up with Team Farmall. Her squaredancing began at the University of Guelph. In 1987 her set won the College Royal competition. She has danced and judged in the Ontario Squaredance circuit for many years after that. It is interesting to note, that her dad grew up with the Farmalls and is an avid collector to this day. |
